There are several organizations that play very important role in ensuring the success of Langkawi Geopark.


Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) work hand-in-hand with LADA under a long term memorandum of understanding initiated since 1996. UKM provides experts and academics input towards the realization of Langkawi Geopark.


Forestry Department of Peninsular Malaysia responsible for management, planning, conservation and development in Permanent Forest Reserve areas and provide enforcement and law under Forestry Act.


Department Mineral & Geoscience of Malaysia responsible to encourage the optional use of geosciences information and services for the sustainable development in Langkawi Geopark.


Wildlife Department help to coordinate wildlife and habitat conservation activities in Langkawi.


Langkawi District Office a local authority in Langkawi that function as Kedah State representative in this district.


Langkawi Tourist Guides Association a non-governmental organization that help to train tourist guides in Langkawi to the  geopark concept and support program that involve sustainable tourism.


Malaysia Nature Society Langkawi Chapter pioneered conservation in Malaysia for the last seven decades, making a difference through habitat conservation and environmental education. Through the joint efforts of our members, partners and supporters, MNS has become a strong voice for the protection of our country’s natural heritage.


Malaysia Associaton of Tour & Travel Agents Kedah Chapter's objective is to promote the interests of the travel and tour industry in Malaysia. MATTA works closely with the Ministry of Tourism (MOTOUR) as well as Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board (MTPB), help organise fairs, seminars, convention and workshops both to create public awareness of the tourism industry as well as to benefit its members.


Langkawi Artist Visual and Art Association a local art organization that has made use Langkawi’s rich culture and nature heritage to express themselves in art as a medium.


Department of National Heritages objective to conserve, preserve and to protect cultural and natural heritage through research, documentation, enforcement and encourage awareness on heritage in Malaysia.


Tourism Malaysia a national agency that focuses on promotion and introduces Malaysia’s best destination and nature heritage in local and international level.
